Our wines are featured in the prestigious wine magazine Robert Parker's Wine Advocate!

 Our Carrasviñas Verdejo and Carrasviñas Barrel Fermented both with 89 points. We want to give a special thank you the Spanish taster Luis Gutierrez for showing interest in our wines! Carrasviñas Verdejo 2015 89 points: “The 2015 Carrasviñas is a classical Verdejo from Rueda from the villages of Pozaldez (where the winery is), Alcazarén and La Seca, fermented with selected yeasts and kept in stainless steel with the lees until bottling. It has aromas of fennel aniseed, freshly cut grass and peach, slightly tropical and with a faintly bitter finish. It's quite balanced and harmonious, the prototype of white that made Rueda famous with that faint
bitterness in the finish.”
Carrasviñas Barrel Fermented 2015 89 points: “The barrel fermented 2015 Carrasviñas Fermentado en Barrica is a modern Verdejo from Rueda, from grapes sourced from ancient vines in the village of Alcazarén on sandy soils. It fermented and matured in 300- and 500-liter French and American oak barrels with bâtonnage for one month. It's quite oaky and leesy, which detracts from the typicity of the grape and combines peachy aromas with notes of sawed wood and sweet spices. The flavors are similar, pungent but quite fresh for a warm year. 8,000 bottles were filled in May 2016.”
